At the start of “Payphone” Levine is seen torching a car and then making a phone call. Soon after, the video cuts to his life as a bank employee just moments before the bank is robbed.

In an interview with E! Online, Levine explained the concept behind the video.

“The video we made for ‘Payphone’ was almost 100% my idea. I wrote this treatment down on paper,” he said.” I love to write creatively and freely, that’s my favorite type of writing. The type of writing I always excelled in as a child and was penalized for in high school because you don’t have any structure and of course there needs to be five paragraphs, intros and conclusions and all that garbage that I never paid attention to. But, I did love to do creative writing.”

Levine said he thinks writing treatments for music videos is the best outlet for creative writing.

“It’s so much fun to tell a story that way,” he said. “I wrote this wacky, nuts, over-the-top, crazy, idea. My childhood fantasy which is to be in a crazy situation where you have to act fast and people are shooting at you.”

Sam Bayer directed the video which includes a dilapidated old bank and intense police chase. Levine did most of the stunts himself and said all the clothes worn were from Men’s Warehouse.

“I didn’t want any of it to seem stylized,” he said. “I wanted it to feel as much like it was really happening as possible.”

We learned during Coachella that anything is possible to bring a deceased musician to life. While Foster the People aren’t reinvented as holograms in this video, they might as well be.

The video for “Houdini” begins in a tragic stage accident while the band is filming a music video. One minute Foster the People are performing and the next they’re on the floor as the lighting falls and crushes the whole band.

Despite their deaths, the show must go on as the band’s handlers call in a man to help get the job done. What looks like a scene from Men In Black develops as a handful of men in suits come to work on the three lifeless bodies.

The boys are stitched back together and made into robots so they can finish filming and practice for a show the next night.

What looks like them reenacting N Sync‘s “Bye Bye Bye” marionette puppet sequence, the band is soon transformed to lifelike form.

Jumping on the boy band wagon with perfectly calculated and choreographed dance moves, one can only wonder if the fans at the show realize the big secret. You’ll just have to watch above to find out.

Mulligan, 26, and Mumford, 24, had only been dating for approximately five months when Mumford popped the question in August of last year.

After they finished eating, they were on their way to their performance on Idol. Earlier this morning B96/Chicago reported, “Yesterday we told you how LMFAO might be in a bit of a tiff because there are arguments over who makes more money and who has more gigs. They are having an even worse day after yesterday. Right before they performed on American Idol, they were served with a $7 million lawsuit. Their old management company said that they brought them from 0-60 within a matter of months, and they deserve a lot more money than they got from the band. LMFAO fired them shortly after they got all this fame, and that company wants the money.”

This little bump in the road didn’t affect their live performance on Idol. LMFAO owned the stage with their most recent single “Sorry For Party Rocking.” They turned the television studio into the coolest party ever, with neon ensembles, dancers, smoke machines and lasers.

After a night full of ups and downs, LFMAO has something to be proud about today. They have been nominated for 17 Billboard Music Awards. Perez Hilton already posted the story and congratulated them via Twitter.

They have been confirmed to perform during the live broadcast on May 20th. Adele received the most BMA nods (18), but only beat LMFAO by one nomination.

While Steve always knew that he was adopted, in January of 2011 he discovered that he was a missing child by the name of Marx Panama Barnes. He was kidnapped by his own mother, put into an orphanage, and then adopted three years later by the family who would raise him.

Several details about his past which he found somewhat suspicious, including a birth certificate issued a year after his birth, prompted him to check the website missingkids.com, where he found a spitting image of himself via a composite drawing of what Marx Panama would look like at age 28. That led to even more research, finally revealing the incredible story of his past. His identity was officially confirmed with a DNA test last November.

I’ve known Steve since childhood, as we grew up together in the small Philadelphia suburb of Medford Lakes, New Jersey, and he has always had an uncanny ability to be the person everyone wanted to hang around with.
