Central Florida’s most renowned chefs will be coming back again for the 28th Annual Taste! Previously known as ‘Taste of the Nation’- ‘Taste’ has come back again this year after some rebranding, and is ready to get your special night going again to help fight against hunger and homelessness. Partnering up with Second Harvest Food Bank, and Coalition For The Homeless, Taste will be bringing you an eclectic evening filled with restaurants from all over Central Florida. The night will provide you with tastings of your favorite foods, wines, craft cocktails and beers. Guests will be able to enjoy a silent auction, The Giving Treem and also a Wine Cellar game. There will be plenty of fun for all at Taste of Central Florida.
I had the pleasure of speaking with Maureen Mikel, Development Manager from Second Harvest Food Bank, as well as Katie Moore, Development Manager for Coalition for the Homeless, about the incredible, fun filled event that residents and tourists can not wait for yea round.
Taste of Central Florida will be held on Saturday, August 19th at the Orlando World Center Marriott from 6:45 p.m. to 10:00 p.m..
