By CJ

June 1st, aka tomorrow starts the official beginning of the Atlantic Hurricane season and NOAA is predicting an above average season.

This weekend, the state of Florida is suspending tax on hurricane related items that you might need in the event of a storm, such as batteries, flashlights, water, etc.

It is recommended to have enough water and non-perishable food to last you at least 72 hours.

Other things you may need in your hurricane kit include:

First Aid Kit
1 gallon of water per person, per day
