One of the most recognizable voices in the music industry passed away at the age of 52 in Detroit.
Chris Cornell passed away last night after a Soundgarden performance in Detroit. According to CBS News New York, the death was “sudden and unexpected and said his wife and family were shocked by it.”
Chris Cornell had one of those voices that could stop you in your tracks. His powerful range hit the Seattle grunge scene in the 90s with Soundgarden and then later with Temple of the Dog. In 2001 after going solo, Cornell was part of the super-band Audioslave which consisted of members of Rage Against the Machine.
