A New High-Rise Is About To Break Ground In Downtown Orlando

By CJ

Orlando’s newest high-rise is about to rise 28 stories above I4 and Garland Street in downtown.

“Tremont Plaza” is set to break ground in the next few weeks, with vertical construction beginning this fall.

The new high-rise will stand 28 floors above the ground level in a current parking lot near the Church Street ballroom.

The location is off of Garland and Church street, near the Bank of America building.

Orlando Business Journal hints that this is the first building to break ground with a potential second coming in the future.

The building will house a parking garage, office space, and a hotel.
