If you know me at all, you know that I love food, and I want my food quickly.
So I was stoked to stumble upon Spoleto, a fast-casual Italian kitchen with 4 locations in Orlando.
I’ve eaten there well over 20 times within the past few months and I have developed “my ingredients.”
I saw “my ingredients” because at Spoleto, you get to choose your own pasta, salad, or flatbread and you can also order your meal “gluten free!”
There are 30 fresh, organic ingredients that you can choose from, meaning, there’s something for everyone.
So here are my favorite creations at Spoleto:
Pasta Bolognese with spinach, red onion, tomato, and penne with an Italian sausage on top.
If you like pasta bolognese, then you’ll love this creation. The bolognese sauce is slightly sweet but still the traditional tomatoey goodness you’ve come to expect. The penne is always cooked perfectly and the italian sausage is just delicious and quite mild in spice.
My favorite creation which I call my, “go to” is Cavatappi with Pesto and chicken. I finish this pasta with 6 ingredients, roasted red pepper, cherry tomato, spinach, red onion, garlic, and bacon. The pesto is super tasty and the cavatappi noodles are just plain fun to eat! (Photo featured.)
I always top my pastas with fresh Parmesan that the cashier grates for me!
As far as salads go, you can never go wrong with Fig Prosciutto and Burrata Cheese. It’s one of their more popular salads for good reason too. It is very tasty.
One of the unique features about Spoleto is that you can order via their app and pick up your food to-go!
