‘Bat-Infused’ Beer Is A True Baseball Beer

So baseball season is over, and you’re glued to the tv, or laptop watching games late into the night (or forced to by your bf as he watches the Chicago Cubs-my situation).

What better way to celebrate America’s favorite pass time than with some cold beer. But what about BAT infused beer. Yep, you read that right. Many craft beer fanatics will recognize the brewer, Terrapin Beer Company. They’ve made favorites such as “Hopsecutioner”, and “Liquid Bliss”.

Recently they came out with a new beer, called “Chopsecutioner”. It’s an IPA, made from used baseball bats. After it’s fermentation process, the beer is aged with wood chips from Japanese-made Mizuno bats, for two weeks. Pretty interesting. Maxim did a taste test and were pretty surprised at the taste, saying it can be a beer enjoyed for hours. I mean, I’d try it. Anything that will help drown out the sound of the boyfriend watching baseball….. LOL
