Community Connection – Project Walk ‘Walk N Roll A Thon’

Project Walk is a nonprofit organization established to help those suffering with a spinal cord injury (SCI) improve their daily living – by regaining function and perhaps, even walking again. The program is modeled after the highly successful Project Walk in Carlsbad, California. This is a proven methodology for SCI recovery and extends the program’s reach and affordability to the southeastern United States, Florida residents and beyond.

I had the pleasure of speaking with Amanda Perla of Project Walk about their upcoming event the 7th Annual ‘Walk N Roll A Thon’. It will be held on Sept. 24th at Cranes Roost Park. The event will showcase the hard work of individuals who are going through recovery, and their progress by walking down a red carpet. Take a listen to what you can expect at this amazing event. If you’d like to find out more and make donations, you can do so here.
