Adam’s Fun Facts: Cement Shoes, Chrysler Cars, Presidential Fathers & More!

What awesome thing did Chrysler cars have in them from 1956 to 1958?  How many U.S. Presidents lost their father at a very young age?  How many people have been documented as wearing “cement shoes”?  All that and more with Adam’s Fun Facts:

1. The 56 highest mountains in America are all in four states: Alaska, California, Colorado, and Washington. (Wikipedia)

2. There’s only one documented case of someone being killed with “cement shoes” and it happened in May of THIS YEAR. A gang member in Brooklyn washed up with his legs set in concrete. Before then it was completely fictional. (Wikipedia)

3. Twelve presidents lost their fathers when they were young, including Washington, Jefferson, Clinton, and Obama. That’s almost one-third of our presidents. (NPR)

4. There were Chryslers that had built-in record players from 1956 to 1958. They malfunctioned so often that Chrysler dropped them after a few years. (Wikipedia)

5. 61.2% of the Americans who fought in World War Two were drafted. (National WW2 Museum)
