Selena Gomez has been nonstop working since her days on The Disney Channel’s hit TV show, “Wizards Of Waverly Place.”
She became a household name with her music career shortly after, and just about a year ago, she went public with her diagnosis of Lupus.
After wrapping up the Revival Tour, Selena has announced she is taking a break from her career for health reasons including anxiety, depression, and severe panic attacks all associated with Lupus.
In a recent interview, Selena said, “I’ve discovered that anxiety, panic attacks and depression can be side effects of Lupus, which can present their own challenges. I want to be proactive and focus on maintaining my health and happiness and have decided that the best way forward is to take some time off.”
Lupus is an autoimmune disease that affects nearly 1.5 million Americans.
