Tropical Storm Earl Forms In The Carribean Sea

Tropical Storm Earl has formed in the Carribean Sea and is currently moving westward at about 22 miles per hour.

The storm was initially just an area of disturbed weather that came off the coast of Africa but in the past 2 days, the area showed signs of development.

As of 12pm EDT, maximum sustained winds were 45mph with higher gusts.

The storm is forecast to affect the Yucatan Peninsula later this week and eventually the Eastern coast of Mexico.

Florida is not in the cone of uncertainty at this time.
