Every year families struggle with back to school time. From having to purchase new supplies, books, uniforms and clothes, to having arrangements made for transportation and classes. Lots of families even forget that children won’t be able to go to school , without their physicals being taken care of.
That being said, Shepherd’s Hope is here to help with uninsured and under insured physicals for children before they go back to school. I had the pleasure of speaking with Marni Stahlman, CEO of Sherpherd’s Hope, about how the organization was started and how we can help our community and our children.
If your child is in need of a physical before school, they can go to either of these locations:
Longwood Shepherd’s Hope Health Center – August 3rd, 4th and 8th (407-876-6699 ext. 243)
Dr. Diebel Memorial Shepherd’s Hope Health Center – August 4th, 11th and 25th (407-876-6699 ext. 247)
Please call your closest location for an appointment. If you would like to make a donation or are seeking help, you can visit their site here.
