Jay is spending the weekend at a hotel in Clearwater this weekend and he’s already got beef with them! Here’s why he’s mad, is it justified? Take a look at the pics he took and tell us if he has a valid argument…
Hey, it’s Jay, and I’ve got a bone to pick with this hotel I’ll be staying at this weekend. When we booked, we got the larger room since there’s four of us and the description in our reservation is as follows:
One Room,Larger Suite
So, when my wife gets there, she notices that the bed isn’t a King. Plus, only half of the sofa bed pulls out, so only one kid can sleep on it. Instead of the room sleeping four, it actually only sleeps three. Granted, if it were an actual king size bed, we could put one kid in bed with us, but that bed looks small, right?
I had Stacie go down to the front desk and explain the room we reserved and what we received and that the bed isn’t a king. The response from the front desk, and I quote, was “That’s OUR king.” What? Since when did your hotel start making their own bed sizes? That’s barely a queen, I mean two pillows barely fit across the top of the bed!
We asked for a larger room and they’re sold out. We asked for a roll away bed and they don’t have any available. So, do I have a legitimate complaint? That’s not a king bed and that sofa bed only sleeps one. My plan is to measure the bed when I get there today and compare their bed to the size of a normal 76″ x 80″ king size bed.
