For the first time in school history, The University of Central Florida has earned a season ending Top 10 ranking going into the 2014-2015 football season.
In the Final AP Poll of the season, the Knights finished at #10 and #12 on the USA Today Coaches Poll.
Prior to the season, UCF was unranked and had a lot to prove to their newly cristened, All American Conference (former Big East.)
Fast forward a few weeks and UCF makes it’s way into the polls ranking in the top 25 and by the time bowl season arrived, UCF was going into the Tostito’s Fiesta Bowl at #15 but still an underdog to (at the time) #6 Baylor.
The only team UCF lost to this season was South Carolina which, barely escaped Brighthouse Networks Stadium with a win.
Without Blake Bortles and Storm Johnson playing at UCF next season, it’ll be interesting to see if UCF can hang in the top 25 all season with a new Quarterback.
Do you think UCF will end up in the top 25 at the end of the 2014-2015 season?
