When it comes to romantic films that females will be pulling off the video shelf for a Valentine’s Day viewing, you can be certain that the 2004 adaptation of the Nicholas Sparks tearjerker The Notebook will be at the top of the list.

The first novel by the author of current release Safe Haven to have a successful film adaptation, The Notebook pulled all the right romantic strings for plenty of girls and occasionally guys as well.  But all of that mushy stuff has been thrown aside with a new faux trailer of the film from the YouTube franchise Honest Trailers. After all, isn’t the biggest lesson learned in The Notebook that we all grow old and die? Not to mention the countless shirtless scenes of Ryan Gosling?
