Appearing at The Abbey as part of our Heineken All Access Lounge series just days before the release of North, the band’s first studio album in almost ten years, Rob Thomas and Kyle Cook of Matchbox Twenty brought an incredible show for all those in attendance.

MB20 wowed the audience with acoustic performances of the first two singles from North, “Overjoyed” and “She’s So Mean.”

Hometown hero Thomas also took some time to talk with Scott McKenzie about his summer time appearance as a guest co-host of Live with Kelly! and his unwillingness to appear as a permanent co-host. “That is a skill set that is all on its own,” Thomas said. “To be that cheerful that consistently, for that many years, that early…crazy! She is a master at it.”
