Billed as one of Ellen’s largest outdoor concert events ever, the guys of One Direction sent the screaming girls in The Ellen DeGeneres Show audience into a frenzy when the episode, to be broadcast on Thursday, November 15th, was taped this week.

In addition to performing their hits, Ellen also had a chance to sit down with 1D and get to know them a little better, including grabbing an up close look at Harry Styles’ newly tattooed chest.

Styles proudly gave her a peek at his still somewhat tender pair of birdies perched on his chest. “They’re a bit sensitive,” Styles said as he proceeded to expose his chest to the crowd. He also revealed that the reason he chose the birds was to represent travelling and flight.

Ellen also asked the perennial fan favorite question: what kind of girl are the single guys looking for?

True diplomats, they all professed their love for American girls, but Styles had one American girl in particular that he had his eyes on…Ellen! Sadly, she had to let him down, telling him that she was already taken.

The Ellen DeGeneres Show, featuring One Direction, will air locally at 3:00 PM tomorrow, November 15th, on WESH-Channel 2.
