Our very own intern, Megan, is a flight attendant for a major airline and she can attest to the fact that some airline passengers can be extremely annoying.  Here are the 6 things you should never do on a plane, plus one additional one from Megan!

A new survey by Skyscanner and posted on Yahoo asked flight attendants what makes them hate passengers the most.  So, here are 6 things you should avoid doing to make the plane a slightly better place for travel, plus Megan’s tip:

#1.) Snapping your fingers at them

#2.) Scrambling to leave the plane before the seatbelt signs are off

#3.) Trying to cram giant pieces of luggage into the overhead compartment

#4.) Talking through the safety demonstration

#5.) Asking for extra blankets or pillows

#6.) Shoving garbage in the seat pocket

#7.) Intern Megan says you should NEVER push the call button for the flight attendant.  Yes, it’s there, but it should ONLY be pushed for an emergency.  You running low on your gin and tonic is not an emergency.

They also said the average passenger who causes the fewest problems is a male, in his 30′s, sitting in economy and not first class, who is traveling alone for pleasure and not for business.
