Ever wonder how much it really costs to run a :30 second commercial during an NFL game or on “American Idol?”  We have the exact dollar amount from the 10 most expensive shows and whoa, it costs a lot!

Advertising Age has released the prices for a :30 second commercial spot during this season’s prime time shows and “Sunday Night Football” is the most expensive, averaging $545,142 per ad!  Here are the 10 Most Expensive shows to advertise on this season:

1.) “Sunday Night Football”, $545,142 (NBC)

2.) Wednesday episodes of “American Idol”, $340,825 (Fox)

3.) “Modern Family”, $330,908 (ABC)

4.) “New Girl”, $320,940 (Fox)

5.) Thursday episodes of “American Idol”, $296,062 (Fox)

6.) “The Simpsons”, $286,131 (Fox)
