Your First Name Alone Reveals Your Credit Score

Can your name really predict your credit score? According to a recent survey  that found which names are tied to the highest and lowest average credit scores.

According to the comparison website Confused.com, they know if you have good credit or bad credit by your first name only.  Now the study was done in the UK, but a lot of these are very common names in the U.S. too.

For men, the five names tied to the highest credit scores are Brian, Alan, Ian, Peter, and Robert. For women, the five names tied to the highest credit scores are Helen, Susan, Julie, Elizabeth, and Joanne.

The five male names tied to the lowest credit scores are Daniel, Lee, Matthew, Steven, and Christopher.

The five female names tied to the worst credit are Lisa, Victoria, Emma, Nicola, and Claire.
