Earlier this morning we were talking about Arnold Schwarzenegger and how he said he lives his life free of regret.  Shortly after we asked if it’s okay to have regrets in life we answered line 2 and there was Alexil: the call that left us speechless.

Alexil told us he came to the United States 22 years ago and was told by friends that if he stayed he would become a citizen.  Trusting his friends, he found out not only that it wasn’t true, but he lost his visa and could no longer return to his homeland.

Now here illegally, he has started a new family and has a wife and kids.  The only problem is, his American family has no idea that he has a wife and kids back home too!  He regrets every day not seeing them, but also regrets that he can not tell his family the truth.
