This report from the TSA is pretty scary for two reasons!  Not only is it scary because this stuff was found by TSA officials on planes, but it’s even scarier that people are stupid enough to even try and get this stuff on a plane!

The TSA stays very busy.  To date, 375,432,402 passengers have traveled through TSA checkpoints since January!  If you do the math, that’s approximately 1.8 million passengers that are screened daily!  So, what did they find?  The TSA Blog just reported their findings so far this year and you can check them all out by clicking here, but here are the scary highlights:

They confiscated 821 guns in carry-on luggage.  Of those, 691 were loaded! That’s an average of four guns per day!

Bear mace (Didn’t even know they made such a thing)

A knife mounted on a senior citizen’s walker

A gun in a hollowed out book

Live eels and venomous snakes

A chainsaw fully gassed-up

And last but certainly not least, a grenade launcher!
