OK, bad news guys, the ladies are trying really hard to get you the perfect gift for Father’s Day, but according to this new survey, they have no clue what we REALLY want.

There’s a website for coupons and rebates called Ebates.com, and according to their new survey, women have no idea what men really want for Father’s Day.  Granted, that’s if you even buy your husband a gift for Father’s Day.

The gift that women thought men wanted most was tickets to a sporting event. In second place, power tools.  Over half of all women had both of those items on their list.  Now keep in mind, I really don’t see and real man complaining that they got a new Makita drill or tickets to the Bucs game.  However, there are a few things that us Dads would like even more.

Only one in three men actually want tickets or tools for Father’s Day.  The #1 item men want for Father’s Day is electronics, like a new smartphone, iPad, or other tablet.

What came in second place?  Dads said a home-cooked meal.  (Whatever, I’d totally take a ballpark dog and tickets to take the family to a Rays game over home-cooked meatloaf!)
