There’s talk that “Twilight” star Robert Pattinson could appear in the “Hunger Games” sequels, “Catching Fire” and “Mockingjay.” Word is that the producers want him for the role of Finnick Odair. If you’ve read the books you know that Finnick is an excellent swimmer who wields a trident (like Poseidon.) Robert better start working out!

Matthew McConaughey will play a JFK, Minka Kelly will play Jackie O., Alan Rickman (who played Professor Snape in the “Harry Potter” movies) will play Ronald Reagan and Jane Fonda will play Nancy Reagan. Forest Whitaker will star as Eugene Allen and Oprah Winfrey will play his wife.

VH1 developing a show called “60-Minute Superstar,” a fast-paced music competition series that plucks unsuspecting singers out of their everyday lives to give them a shot at stardom. Wannabe singers will be secretly nominated by people they know and the producers will select diamonds in the rough to mold into a star.
