There’s talk that “Twilight” star Robert Pattinson could appear in the “Hunger Games” sequels, “Catching Fire” and “Mockingjay.” Word is that the producers want him for the role of Finnick Odair. If you’ve read the books you know that Finnick is an excellent swimmer who wields a trident (like Poseidon.) Robert better start working out!

Now that Jessica Simpson has given birth, her fans are wondering when she plans to tie the knot! According to Life & Style, Jessica is making plans to wed in Hawaii on December 12, 2012 (or 12/12/12). But not so fast! A family insider says that story is made up and no date has been set.
Usher is still in court fighting for custody of his two kids with his ex-wife, Tameka Foster. The other day we heard about Usher’s alleged drug use. Yesterday Tameka’s attorney accused Usher of getting busy with one of her bridesmaids while they were still married. Yikes.
There’s a new movie in the works called “The Butler.” It’s about Eugene Allen, a real-life White House butler, who worked for eight different presidents. Matthew McConaughey will play a JFK, Minka Kelly will play Jackie O., Alan Rickman (who played Professor Snape in the “Harry Potter” movies) will play Ronald Reagan and Jane Fonda will play Nancy Reagan. Forest Whitaker will star as Eugene Allen and Oprah Winfrey will play his wife.
After Donald Driver won “Dancing with the Stars,” he said the feeling was just like after he won the Super Bowl with the Green Bay Packers in 2011. But, he added, it took him 13 years to win a Super Bowl but only one season to win a Mirror Ball.
Some people are super serious about celebrating their birthday and 50 Cent is one of them! Awhile back he said he wanted to put out his next album on July 3rd, right before his 37th birthday on July 6th. Unfortunately, his label may not be on board. So, if he has to, he’s going to put it out himself. He said, “My birthday is July 6th, and I planned for it. And I’m doing everything that I planned to do regardless if it’s huge airplay or not. I couldn’t care less. I’m putting the record out.”
VH1 developing a show called “60-Minute Superstar,” a fast-paced music competition series that plucks unsuspecting singers out of their everyday lives to give them a shot at stardom. Wannabe singers will be secretly nominated by people they know and the producers will select diamonds in the rough to mold into a star.
