A year ago, if you had said you were listening to Carly Rae Jepsen, people would have no idea who you were talking about. Now when you say her name, immediately, people begin singing Call Me Maybe.

Call Me Maybe is one of the most infectious songs I’ve ever heard and to be quite honest, one of my favorite songs at the moment.

Her music video for the song is gathering thousands of hits a day on YouTube and there will be much anticipation for her album when it drops. The amount of buzz Call Me Maybe is generating reminds me of when The Wanted or Taylor Swift release a new track.

Carly Rae Jepsen has come from Canadian Idol to America’s next sweetheart. It’s weird to think a tweet can change your life, but in Carly’s case…it has. Congratulations on the success Carly and we wish you nothing but the best!
