Word is that Demi Lovato will be a judge on the next season of “The X Factor“. She’ll be in NYC tomorrow for the big announcement. Britney Spears is supposed to be there tomorrow as well. Now they just need a host.
Jessica Simpson has sold the first pictures of her daughter Maxwell to “People” magazine for $800,000. That’s kind of on the low-end for celebrity baby pics. Four years ago, “People” paid $11 million for the first shots of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s twins. Should the money go to the kids or the parents?
Thor is a father. He impregnated his wife with a bolt of lightning! Okay, maybe not, but Chris Hemsworth, who plays Thor, and his wife Elsa welcomed a baby girl on Friday. They named her India. Chris says they love the country and love the name.
Whitney Houston’s family is getting a reality show. “The Houston Chronicles” will debut later this year on Lifetime. The show will be about Whitney’s brother Gary and sister-in-law Pat, and their efforts to support Bobbi Kristina. Cissy Houston and Dionne Warwick are on board as well.
NBC is going to do two seasons of “The Voice” next year . . . one in the fall and one in the spring. All four judges will be back for the fall, but NBC might use different judges for the spring season.
Beyonce could’ve made $20 million. Now it may cost her $100 million. Software developer Gate Five got the go-ahead from a judge to proceed with a $100 million lawsuit against her. They say she backed out of a $20 million agreement to be in the game Starpower: Beyonce. Her attorney’s say she was entitled to walk away because Gate Five hadn’t finalized its financial agreements. Gate Five says Beyonce walked even though she knew they were three days away from signing a funding deal. To be continued….
Jennifer Hudson’s ex-brother-in-law, William Balfour, was convicted Friday of three counts of murder in the deaths of Jennifer’s mother, brother and nephew. He faces a mandatory sentence of life in prison.
Mick Jagger won’t have the rest of the Rolling Stones with him on the May 19th season finale of “Saturday Night Live,” but he will have Arcade Fire and Foo Fighters as his backup band. That’s kind of a small stage for all of them share with Mick Jagger moving around the way he does.
A photographer posted a picture of Lady Gaga showing what looks like an engagement ring. It was posted with the caption “Gaga showing off her new engagement ring!” But there’s no word whether Gaga is actually engaged or even dating right now.
