Adele may still be queen of the albums charts, but this week, probably due in part to her impressive rendition of the Star-Spangled Banner at the Super Bowl, Kelly Clarkson knocks Adele out of the number one spot in the singles charts with Stronger (What Doesn’t Kill You).
According to Idolator, this is the third song from Kelly Clarkson since her days on American Idol to hit the top of the charts. The other two were her winning Idol song A Moment Like This in 2002 and My Life Would Suck Without You from 2009.
Another artist who received a nice boost on the singles chart this week after her Super Bowl performance was Madonna. Give Me All Your Luvin takes the #13 spot on Billboard’s Hot 100.
Congrats to Kelly Clarkson and don’t miss your chance to pick up your tickets for her Universal Mardi Gras performance during this week’s Free Ticket Tuesday.
