I found this to be really good info, it’s 4 Ways To Feel Younger from Health.com. Granted, it’s not breaking news or info you’ve never heard before, but when you put all four of them together, it’s quite helpful. The best part is, all of these are achievable! So, let’s get ready to start feeling younger, today!
#1.) Go to Bed Earlier
It’s no secret, getting more sleep equals more energy. But you have to make it a habit, doing it a few times a week doesn’t count. You need 8 hours of sleep a night and since you probably can’t wake up any later than you already do, going to bed earlier is the only way to get those 8 hours.
The good news, after 6-straight weeks of getting eight hours of sleep a night, you’ll have more energy and those dark circles under your eyes will start to disappear!
#2.) When You Exercise, Focus More on Your Lower Body
Hey guys, this is more for you, since we tend to concentrate on upper-body workouts, like our arms and chest. But if you’re feeling tired or fatigued, try doing more lower-body exercises, like squats, lunges, calf-raises, or just run. Stronger legs and a stronger core will make you feel lighter on your feet and make you feel full of energy!
#3.) Break Out of Your Routine
Even if you eat right and exercise every day, you’ll start feeling old if you don’t change things up a little. According to Caroline Adams Miller, author of the book “Creating Your Best Life,” she says “The brain craves novelty. To feel younger, you have to stimulate it with new associations and new things.”
#4.) Listen to Music You Loved 20 Years Ago.
Researchers at Harvard University found that when we are exposed to movies, music, and memorabilia from our youth, we’re happier and experience fewer health issues. Some even saw improvements in their vision and memory!
