[photogallerylink id=73049 align=left]Paul McCartney tied the knot once again yesterday at a ceremony at Old Marleybone Town Hall in London. What’s the significance of the ceremony site? It’s the same place where he wed Linda back in 1969. Paul married 51-year old Nancy Shevell, a New York businesswoman, who he’s been dating since 2007.
Paul’s daughter, Stella McCartney, designed Nancy’s gown and Paul’s suit. Paul’s 7-year-old daughter, Beatrice, (from his marriage to Heather Mills) was the flower girl.
According to “People,” Paul gave Nancy a vintage-style Neil Lane diamond eternity band with 5-carats of square cut diamonds set in platinum. That will go very nicely with her engagement ring, which is a 5+ carat flawless diamond art deco ring, also from Neil Lane.
Now don’t worry about Paul and his finances, considering Heather Mills got a lot of his wealth, Nancy comes with her own very large bank account. Nancy is a member of the New York Metropolitan Transit Authority and VP of a family-owned transportation company.
This is Paul’s 3rd marriage and Nancy’s 2nd.
Guests who attended the wedding include:
Barbara Walters, who is Nancy’s cousin
Ringo Starr and his wife Barbara Bach
George Harrison’s widow Olivia
Time to kill, how about a quick game of Typing Frenzy?
