Today is the most romantic day of the year, so you don’t want to blow it by ordering the wrong food at dinner.  “Reader’s Digest” put together a list of 8 food items that you want to avoid on Valentine’s Day.

#1.) Beans. I don’t think I really need to explain this one. If I do, no wonder you’re still single.

#2.) Lobster and Crab. It might be hard to feel the romance when the person you’re sitting across from is ripping apart an animal with their bare hands. Plus, you’re going to spell like dead fish later.

#3.) Spinach. There’s a chance it’ll get stuck in your teeth and you’ll embarrass yourself.

#4.) Garlic Bread. You’ll smell like garlic for the rest of the night, so only order it if your date wants some too.

#5.) Wings and Ribs. Too messy and ripping meat from the bone with your teeth isn’t hot.

#6.) An Oversized Hamburger. Don’t order something that’s hard to fit your mouth around. You should probably avoid anything you have to eat with your hands, class it up and use silverware.

#7.) Soup. Slurping isn’t attractive and neither is soup dripping down your chin, unless you’re 5-years old, then it’s cute.

#8.) Anything Off a Dollar Menu. It says you’re cheap. (I’d be OK with it though, because I like burgers and fries!)
