On this week’s all-new episode of Glee, get ready for an all-male acapella version of [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Katy Perry[/lastfm]‘s Teenage Dream that will blow your socks off. And it’s not courtesy of the boys of Glee pictured above.
This week’s episode introduces [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Darren Criss[/lastfm] as Blaine, an openly gay student with rival glee club the Dalton Academy Warblers that quickly wins the adoration of Chris Colfer’s Kurt. Could Kurt finally find a love interest capable of returning his affections? One can only hope. And from Criss’ winning performance of Teenage Dream, it’s safe to say that Kurt won’t be the only one swooning for Criss after the episode, entitled Never Been Kissed, airs. Listen to “Teenage Dream” and the rest of the hot tracks from tonight’s show below.

Criss may bring in some viewers familiar with him on last year’s ABC show Eastwick, but his viral presence as Harry Potter in the musical parody A Very Potter Musical and the subsequent A Very Potter Sequel has gained him the most attention. Begun as a project by a group of University of Michigan students including Criss, it quickly became an internet sensation, as well as drawing some legal ire from the Potter folks. In addition to playing Harry, Criss also wrote many of the songs.
We’re anxious to see what Glee has in store for Kurt and Blaine in the weeks to come! Check out a behind-the-scenes clip from this week’s episode below.
