Never one to shy away from controversy, [lastfm]Axl Rose[/lastfm] is claiming that music industry honcho Irving Azoff concocted a plot to ensure [lastfm]Guns N’ Roses[/lastfm] would be destroyed.

According to a TMZ report, Rose claims that Azoff tried to “implement a secret plan to set up Rose and the band for failure so that Rose would have no choice but to reunite with the original [lastfm]Guns N’ Roses’[/lastfm] members.”

[lastfm]Axl Rose[/lastfm] filed a countersuit against Azoff, his former manager, claiming he tried to push Rose into a reunion tour with the original members of [lastfm]Guns N’ Roses[/lastfm]. Rose wants $5,000,000 for damages.
